“The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.”

Ode to the beauty of summer, and the summer that has, or soon will, end again. The
conclusion of this glorious, though somewhat boring, vacation also marks the beginning of a new chapter for my life, and many others'.  With the launch of this blog, I am vowing to myself (and I suppose the internet filled with all those who may stumble upon this site) to find happiness and stick with it.

To me, that joy comes by way of God, family, friends, reading, and writing. In the upcoming posts, you will read about all of the subjects mentions above, especially the latter. Rose's Ramblings will soon become a compilation of the mental dialogue of a teen writer; a girl stumbling her way through the path that a life writing commitment paves before her.

If you are willing to embark, or simply follow, on this journey alongside me via this blog I thank you now friends. I would also like to apologize in advance for the insanity that is sure to ensue. Here's to a fresh outlook on life, and the first of many posts to come.
